Cloudioid
A downloadable vst
Cloudioid is a simple random frequency oscillator designed to create computer-y bloops. They may be harmonic in nature.
When you press any note, the oscillator is enabled, choosing random frequencies at a rate defined by the slider in the bottom center. (In the current version, the maximum rate that the oscillator can change at is your current sample rate.) The frequencies to choose from are defined by the three knobs in the center, representing the minimum frequency, the maximum frequency, and a weight towards either direction respectively.
The waveform can be changed in the bottom left. Currently only sine and square are supported. (they're the most computer-y!)
"SMOOTH" toggles smooth interpolation of the the pitch between notes. This can be used to make more bird-call-like effects.
Finally, "MIDI" locks the frequencies chosen to multiples of the midi notes currently held. Actual frequencies are chosen similarly to the random distribution method described above, so the octave of the note pressed doesn't influence the result. That is, A3 and A4 and A5 all do the exact same thing: trigger any of all As between the min and max, distributed by the weight knob.

If you're using FL Studio, the provided file NEEDS to be in a folder wherein FL expects to find VST3 plugins specficially, not just any VST folder. This typically means "C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3\", although you may want to check your plugin manager. I have not verified whether this is the case for other DAWs, but what information I've found online seems to imply that this is a FL-specific thing.

Neat! I think I might find a way to put this in a track, A bit unpractical it has its purpose.
I use a lot weird synths in my music, so this is pretty cool.
